A Very Happy Moment

Tue Dec 8, 2009, 12:50 AM
Hiya folks!

Happy to report that I am happy--although I am rather hesitant to say why.

All you need to know is that about 4 years ago, I had a vision. And now, that vision will be coming true...or at least a fragment of it.

I will post the completed project in the summer when it is all done, and you will see just how true the phrase "Every dream is only a journey away" truly is.

Until then, I will be working on said project, as well as using my Optimus Prime-esque voice to narrate a trailer for a friend of mine.

Until next time,
"Autobots! Transform! And roll out!"

  • Mood: Cheerful
  • Listening to: Nightwish and Sonata Arctica again!
  • Reading: Old issues of Gamepro Magazine
  • Watching: Mostly animations, gotta learn from the best!
  • Playing: a little of this, a little of that
  • Eating: food
  • Drinking: alchohol! I'm 21!

Flag in the Ground

Fri Sep 18, 2009, 11:16 PM
Hey! I'm updating for once in a few months yet again!

Apologies to all those whom I haven't been communicating with much, it's been a really busy summer and this fall will be even busier. I will be directing and creating my own Animation Project this and next semester--so I'll be hard at work on that.

Speaking of which, does anybody know the best way to obtain permission for a copyrighted song from overseas(say...Finland?)

Anyways, I finish this journal with a link to Sonata Arctica's new single: Flag in the Ground. Check it out--I really hope this band breaks through out here in the states. Attending their show in Santa Ana last night(the 17th of September) was definitely the most fun I've had in years.

Summer

Thu May 21, 2009, 12:29 AM
  • Mood: Content
  • Listening to: the good songs from the Adventureland soundtrack
  • Reading: The text from video games and internets
  • Watching: A lot of movies in actual theaters
  • Playing: As many PS2 games I can!
  • Eating: Quite often these days
  • Drinking: Yeah, I do that too
Just thought I'd update my journal for once. Bought a boatload of great games for the PS2, and now I'm like..."Which game should I play now?" all the time--quite a dilemma right?

Anyway, I'm anxious for my senior year of school to come and then go so I can get started with my life and do something with it.

Adventureland!

Fri Apr 17, 2009, 11:56 PM
  • Mood: Rant
  • Listening to: same old, depressing shit
  • Reading: lecture notes
  • Watching: the world burn...still
  • Playing: lol, Pokemon Sapphire
  • Eating: Food much more often...having money again is nice.
  • Drinking: I seriously wish I was that age already
Hey! All you Twilight haters, drop your prejudice for an hour and a half and go treat yourself to Adventureland--a surprisingly good movie for youngsters like myself. I went into that film expecting lame jokes and raunchy humor(lest we forget, this is the Director who did Superbad), but I was pleasantly surprised by a good story, fun and relatable characters, and essentially, a story that cheered me up after a lousy few days.

And yes, Kristen Stewart is in it...and no. She's NOT the greatest actress ever, but she isn't the worst either--she did what was needed and that's all that matters.

So go see it before the general public forces it out of theaters!

"If you have to give up the giant ass panda, you might as well leave 'cuz you'll get fired."
